For all undergraduate qualifications, honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas, the UNISA Online Application for Admission to the 2024-2025 Academic year model is open from 14 May to 19 July 2024. From 19 August 2024, the UNISA Online Application portal for 2024 will be active and available to all applicants who wish to apply online for UNISA Admission 2024 to start a new qualification or program. For the 2024-2025 academic year, UNISA invites all applicants to submit their applications within the prescribed period. We would like to remind you that the opening and closing dates for UNISA’s Application for Registration for 2024-2025 are limited. The application period for 2024-2025 is now open if you wish to study through UNISA.
University of UNISA Admissions Online 2024: How to Apply.
To apply online for admission to study through UNISA for undergraduate qualifications such as Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas & Degrees, Higher Certificate Programmes or Courses, and Advanced Certificate Courses for the 2024 academic year, all applications must be submitted online during the appropriate application period.
Please apply for admission as soon as possible if you are interested in starting a new program/course. Applicants to the University of South Africa (UNISA) must submit the following documents:

How is the selection process conducted?
- For all undergraduate degrees, honours degrees, and postgraduate diplomas, the University of South Africa (UNISA) will open or accept the Online Application Form from 14 May to 19 July 2024.
- If there are spaces available for the 2024-2025 academic year, UNISA will notify Late Application applicants.
- It is always advisable to submit admission applications online. The regional offices will not have self-help stations for applications.
- It is not automatic to be accepted to a qualification. Rather, it will depend on whether you meet the admission requirements and if there are openings.
- In the selection process, you are given a points score based on your final Grade 12 marks, as well as other important factors like your gender, socioeconomic status, and race.

THE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS FOR ONLINE APPLICATION FOR UNISA 2024-2025
The following documents are required for applicants interested in starting a new program:
- The copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport, if you are an international student
- If the documents are not in English or Afrikaans, they need to be translated sworn
- Please provide a copy of your school qualifications, Senior Certificate, and National Senior Certificate
- Please provide a copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)

UNISA Registration for 2024-2025 Academic year: How to Register
Undergraduate & Honours Online Registration at the University of South Africa (UNISA) will open on 14 May to 19 July 2024. Registration is required for all applicants during their period of admission. UNISA Admission will require you to reapply during the 2024-2025 application period if you do not register for the 2024 academic year.

- Then click “GO“

- To proceed, please answer the following questions
- You will need to enter your student number and other useful information. Unless you have a student number, you will not be able to continue.
- On the screen, confirm your personal information. Make sure you have accurate information by correcting any details of yours
- Click on the modules you wish to register for from the drop-down list. For your chosen qualification, make sure you qualify for the module
- Ensure that you do not exceed the prescribed number of modules per semester or year otherwise, it will delay your registration process.
- Then, you calculate your study fees
- Submit your registration for evaluation
