SSDI Payment Dates for November
Important Information for Disability Beneficiaries. The Social Security Administration (SSA) has released the payment schedule for disability beneficiaries. If you’re receiving SSDI benefits, it’s crucial to be aware of these important dates.
Qualifying for SSDI Benefits
It’s essential to note that simply meeting the Social Security Administration’s (SSA) strict disability criteria is not enough to qualify for SSDI benefits. You must also have a record of filing and paying sufficient taxes to the SSA. Without meeting these requirements, you won’t be eligible for disability or retirement benefits.

November 3: SSDI Benefit Payments
The next payday for SSDI disability beneficiaries is on November 3, according to the SSA. The average payment is approximately $1,486, but the exact amount you receive depends on your earnings, filing age, and the number of years you’ve paid taxes while working. High earners who filed later in life could receive up to $3,627.
Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
In some cases, individuals may receive both SSI (Supplemental Security Income) and SSDI or retirement benefits simultaneously. However, the amounts for SSI are not as substantial. In 2023, the maximum SSI amount is $914 for single individuals and $1,371 for couples. SSI recipients will receive their payments on the first day of November, ensuring they get both checks if eligible.
Additional November Payment Dates
If you miss the November 3 payment, don’t worry. There are three more payment dates in November for SSDI beneficiaries:
- November 8: If your birthdate falls between the 1st and the 10th of the month.
- November 15: If your birthdate is between the 11th and the 20th.
- November 22: If your birthdate is from the 21st to the 31st.
These additional payment dates offer flexibility to those who may not qualify for the initial November 3 payment.
