UNISA Master’s And Doctoral Bursary 2024

The bursary will cover allowances for Research Essentials and Tuition fees for 2 consecutive years, subject to second-year re-application being approved. The coverage varies based on the type of degree pursued:

- Master’s Degree by Research and Experimental Research: Covers tuition fees and research allowance up to R55,000 over the first 3 consecutive years.
- Doctoral Degree by Experimental Research: Covers tuition fees and research allowance up to R120,000 over the first 4 consecutive years.
- Doctoral Degree by Research: Covers tuition fees and research allowance up to R80,000 over the first 4 consecutive years.

Eligibility Criteria

- Submission and approval of Research Proposal by January 31, 2024, for international and South African Master’s and Doctoral research students.
