This program is structured into three levels, each consisting of several compulsory modules.

First Level

BWE1501 – Business Practice and Workplace Ethics

Recommendation: This module should be taken together with or after completing SCL1501 and ILW1501.

CPD1501 – Citizenship, Public Participation and Democracy

ENN1504 – Practising Workplace English

PAR1501 – Introduction to Paralegal Studies

Recommendation: This module should be taken together with or after completing SCL1501 and ILW1501.

PVL1501 – Law of Persons

This module covers the legal status, rights, and obligations of individuals from birth to death.

SCL1501 – Skills Course for Law Students

SJD1501 – Social Dimensions of Justice

Second Level

ADL2601 – Administrative Law

Pre-requisite: ILW1501 & SJD1501

FBE2604 – Forms of Business Enterprise

Recommendation: Should be taken together with or after SCL1501 and ILW1501.
This module examines the different forms of business entities, including their formation, management, and dissolution.

IND2601 – African Customary Law

Pre-requisite: ILW1501 & PLS1502
An exploration of the traditional legal systems and practices prevalent in African societies.

IOS2601 – Interpretation of Statutes

Pre-requisite: ILW1501
This module focuses on the principles and methods used in interpreting legislative texts.

LEG2601 – Legal Aspects of Environmental Management

LLW2601 – Individual Labour Law

LSB2605 – Legal Aspects of Small Businesses

PAC2602 – Paralegal Advice Centre

Recommendation: Should be taken together with or after SCL1501 & ILW1501.

PVL2601 – Family Law

Pre-requisite: ILW1501 & PVL1501
This module covers legal issues related to family relationships, including marriage, divorce, and child custody.

PVL2602 – Law of Succession

SSL2601 – Social Security Law

Third Level

COL3704 – Consumer Law

Recommendation: Should be taken together with or after SCL1501 & ILW1501.

EDL3703 – Education Law

Recommendation: Should be taken together with or after SCL1501 & ILW1501.
